This is an amazing, highly-detailed piece of handmade folk art. The perfect addition to a shelf to add a bit of whimsy. Made by 11th generation potter Savannah Craven, granddaughter of Billy Joe Craven.
This face jug was made from red Georgia clay and then glazed with a lovely mix of glazes. It has a lot of personality.
The bottom of this jug has a large circle cut out of the bottom, so it can be placed on top of something small to “stash” it.
Savannah has signed the bottom.
